ICE systems are mainly composed of Stainless Steel. We are facing permanent price evolution of this material due to market speculation and production shortage.
In front of the exponential evolution of the price increase, we have no other solution than linking our quotation to the CRU Steel Price Index. The evolution forecast from September to October 2006 will be about 20% (market forecast).
Therefore in case of an increase of more than 5 % between the offer emission month index and the index of the month of order, the price of our offer will be revised as follows:
Index at the date of offer = I0
Index at the date of order = Ic
Index D = ( Ic - I0 ) / I0
If Index D < 5% > > > Price of the offer unchanged.
If Index D > 5% > > > Price of the offer = Price of the order x (1 + Index D )
